  • Ahhh Jorden (remember him?)

Dunno if anyone remembers, but some of the old timers here will remember Jorden being ever so helpful, but all to often just plain wrong. He left a year or two ago and moved into FuturePublishing's PCFormat magazine's forums.

Now, he often makes it into the PCF mag in the 'forum cuttings' section. I've always been convinced he gets quoted in it because of the utter rubbish he can sometimes come out with. This month is no exception. He's written a load of crap about why PCs sometimes crash, and reckons he's cleverer than PCF's support guy, Luis Villazon.

I can't actually find the original posts the cuttings come from on PCF's site wchich is odd, but if anyone gets PCF read page 173.

I wondered what happened to him. Is he still married to Motub?

He and Holly haven't married, yet. They are, last time I heard, still together.

And yeah, he was comically convinced that he was always right, even when some utterly bizarre thoughts entered his head.

Someone scan it. I've never even heard of this magazine, so I guess it's not too available in the US.

Actually re-reading it I think Jorden must be deliberately talking rubbish - he can't be serious, can he? He's a moderator over there

Pah! what does Luis know? If he knew so much he'd be posting here day in day out, not on the knitting forum.

At least it's quality and you have the proof it has an effect there, not like some of that Canadian legal stuff
