Wynton Marsalis does a very nice version of Pachelbel's Cannon if you like trumpets. It is on his Portrait of.. and Baroque Music for Trumpet recordings.

Sorry KvH is right, not Denon, but Telarc. Stupid how one's memory fails in old age. Yes, it's Murray's D Minor T&F that I was thinking about. Got the LA bit right, though

If you do not have good louspeakers though, this recording may bugger them up if played at anything like the volume it should be played at. Have a friend who did just that.

The loudspeakers were cheap, but are good (for the price). They're also made with home theaters in mind (sub/sat system), so I think they'll handle the bass. But my amp seems to have a defect... on one side, the mids are way too quiet, and the rest is a little too quiet, too (and yes, it isn't the cables, nor the speakers, nor the speaker terminals - it's on speakers A and B )

I have found a version of the Wedding March that I like.

It is by Mendelssohn in 'Midsummer Night's Dream'.
I have seen it on the 'Discover Classical Music' Albumn but every good copy I have seen skips

I am not keep on Wagner. It sounds too... sincere

Is your wedding going to be purely with classical music ?

Bah - Just be thankful we didn't insist on you playing!

FYI, I wanted the birdie song for our first - that I can dance to!

It wouldn't do any good; I'm now the pround owner of a fractured thumb.

The birdie song! I haven't danced to that in, like, 10 years!

                      I can't remember it now

I can do the 'saturday night' dance. It's an option..
