      Thanks, but can't play it. I hate avis. There are only 100 million codecs used by everyone randomly and it's never one you have. And once you download it, it doesn't work with your player.. "hey dummy, get divx or whatever!"

      It's just not worth the effort. Why can't there be ONE standard format for everything that every mainstream player is automatically compatible with?

        I agree, the AVI codec mess is kinda annoying.

        It's kinda strange, whenever I reinstall Windows I install 3 things, and every AVI movie I come across works flawlessy.
        The things I install are: DivX 5.03 Bundle, some crazy build of xvid I found in a corner on the net somewhere and some old AC3 codec. Those seem to do the trick.

        If you dislike codecs, you could always try mplayer, which has binaries for linux, windows and most other platforms there are. It has builtin decoding of most formats, so no need to hunt down strange codecs from the far reaches of the net.

            Another one. This is the last good one. I went inside before the total eclipse, and forgot to go back and get a picture of it. Damn.
