Sorry, I haven't heard of any of them, so they are not celebrities, for me

However, I'm not a keen fan of drunkenness, under any circumstances. I think it vilifies a person. I'm not being holier than thou, as I like a glass of wine with my dinner, as much as anyone, especially a good Oz Shiraz or a suitably aged Bourgogne Pinot Noir (recently had a 1961 Chambertin: pure nectar!).

Note I'm not talking about alcoholism. Dunno whether these three persons are suffering from this difficult disease. If so, they need deep sympathy and understanding.

Edit: I didn't vote at all

Brian, for Shiraz I recomend anything from McLarren Vale, and for Cab Sav try anything from the Coonawarra(sp?) area Damn I miss my Oz wines.

I hope the smilie at the end of the sentence means you're joking. Never heard of Glen Campbell?

Never saw the movie "True Grit?" Never heard the songs "Wichita Lineman" or "Rhinestone Cowboy?"

I thought American culture was global!

I met and had a nice one on one (just the two of us) chat with Glenn back when his show was in production... hmmm... think that was in '68

Might have to give him a ring and ask, WFT d00d

That said; nobody is a nastier looking drunk than Nick Nolte.....NOBODY !!

Saw a pic of him in a grocery tabloid the other day while waiting in line. He was shopping in Beverly Hills with a white paper bag over his head

No wonder Nolte played a burned out druggie gambler in "The Good Thief" so well. He has vast personal experience in that arena.
