Sadly, this group is a tiny part of those who buy and use computers. Do you think Mom and Susie college student are going to hack their bios? No, this drm crap will succeed, because most people buy a Dell or an HP and take what the corporate pricks give them.

Absoloutely ages ago... I remember reading something about Serial ATA and digital rights management being an integral part was this feature dropped? Or has it not been turned on yet.

It's the way things are gonna go anyway, we cant really stop this steam roller.

I'd pay for music that was better than cd quality, i.e. dvd-audio quality. Not Mp3 Quality (128). DRM would be better implemented if you had a dongle, which had your key on it and you could then transfer that from device to device with ease and then copy the music to what ever machine, the music would be encrypted before it is sent / and the device you want to copy it to you just needed the key to play it, same goes for dvd's. This time make it harder to crack.

Thus ends my naieve idea.
