TP: No time was set, it appeared to be for life. When I did a poll on allowing him back, I was made to understand that there are only a few who decide on that. I understand that now.

Indeed, and quite clearly so. That was what I tried to say...

No worries... I could have stated it a bit clearer anyways.

edit: added a sentence: the last one.

Dare I open up a can of worms and ask: what did he do to get banned? I totally missed that, but I was away from these forums for over 6 months at one point.

He was unfortunate enough to be a Jew living in Israel thus having more first hand knowledge of what was actually going on there than most of the ppl here and tended to take great offense to ppl who would post shit that was very anti Jewish and totally wrong. He also had the unfortunate situation of having a nemisis here by the name of Goldstien who hated Jews with a passion and would go out of his why to get under Dogbert's skin anyway he could. And unfortunately he did on a couple of occasions. Obviously one too many times. But like I said earlier there are some who have done or are doing worst who are still here.

Leave it to Joel to turn that banishment into a jewish oppression thing

Actually, this is the main reason he got the boot, one day he lost it and decided to take on Goldstein with quite colorful insults and threats, it went on for a couple of pages untill he was asked to quit it, he openly defied the request/ultimatum so he was banned.

Quite right, there are a few extremists the MURC could do without
