BMW versus Camaro

I'm not supporting the kid here, but:
The road wasn't exactly crowded.
The only person I saw get in an accident was the police car.
It looks like the BMW got away.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

They had everything else on video, why not the capture (yeah, I know the kid's a minor, but they could show the breakdown)? They reused the same video multiple times (the "breakdown" was the u-turn, edited). And the "he was going to ram me" bit looks like a big fat lie. The cop looks & sounds like he's lying, and the video makes it look like the officer f*cked up a ram job (the police car appears to clip right before going left). Why would the BMW ram the bigger, heavier camaro? They'd both probably lose control, which is the opposite of what the BMW needs.
It's evident they misled. That makes it more likely to me that they outright lied.Last edited by Wombat; 9 December 2003, 01:33.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. You think I'm joking. I asure you I'm not. Just ask Jon P. about Kansas highways. Almost every single highway entrance/exit on I-70 west of Topeka look exactly the same, with the exception of the Flint Hills area.
Each one has the merger sign, each one the speed limit posted after the entrance, on the other side there is always some sort of sign showing the services and/or the name of the exit and city there, etc.
To the well trained Kansan eye, these are two different streatches of highway. The wear on the roads are different. The slow lane in the top picture has less wear than the bottom. There is a road artifact on the left side that is on the bottom pic, but not the top. The horizon is different. The spacing on the structure or trees to the right of the speed limit signs are off. Spacing, thickness and wear on the road lines is different.
This is honestly two different stretches of highway in Kansas.
