    Of course they are going to reverse the GITMO case. It's STUPID.

    The other one is the one people should worry about.

      Nod to Paul? His numbers support my assertion if anything;

      Percentage of 9th Circuit cases partially reversed or vacated - 75% (18 of 24)
      OK, I was 5% off...mainly because I was working from memory & didn't check it. Wow....
      Percentage of all cases partially reversed or vacated - 74% (59 of 80)
      Again not exactly a bell-ringer for that circuit, is it? Again close enough to the point I was trying to make.
      Percentage of 4th, 5th, 8th, and 10th Circuit cases partially reversed or vacated: 100% (8 of 8)
      Again it shows how whacked out the Federal apellate courts are.
      Percentage of state court cases partially reversed or vacated by the US Supreme Court - 81% (17 of 21)
      Ditto.

      So what's the contention?
