You missed the winking smilely. Played Dungeon Master on the Amiga all the time. Never managed to finish Chaos Strikes Back though, it was a bit of a pain.

Played it on the Ataris ST!! I finished both, but I did consult the Oracle a few times. I don't recall call my party members, but I did have Elijah and Linflas. Hmmm... Gothmog, Hissssaaa, and Borissss...nah, I didn't pick those.

Amberstar, Ambermoon.... well I did beat Amberstar, even though Byock and I cheated.. Ambermoon I started playing, but lost my save game when my harddrive puked.

Never did beat Chaos Strikes Back either. Bought it back in the day for my Atari ST. Damn that one was HARD! Beat Dungeon Master of course. It was either that game, or my brother playing Populous 2 that killed my mouse. (looking back on it, those Atari mice SUCKED!!!)

I got good at disassembling the buttons on our Amiga's mouse and bending the little metal spring/button thing back into shape. Now these cheap MS mice have buttons that are thermaly welded so your only choice is to replace them. I've got an old mouse with a busted cable I use for spare buttons, they're pretty easy to desolder and put in the new mouse.

I kill my spare time with KOTOR (finished light side, turning to dark) and got Lords of Everquest and X2 waiting.

Dungeon Master was a mouse killer. So was Populous 2, as was Diablo. Fortunately you can still move around with the keyboard in NWN. Damn Point and click adventures....

Ahhh, Populous 2, that really was a mouse killer, but what a fun game!

I still think I liked Mega lo Mania better. Now that was a fun game.

Oh yeah, Mega lo Mania. First game (at least that I've heard of) that had digitized voices. "The Mine's destroyed!" "We're running out of elements." Talk about pre-cursor to all the RTS games. And yet I don't think any of them have been as fun. Now if there were a remake of that game, along with a multi-player.... Oooh yeah, now THAT would be an RTS I could enjoy. Most of them now days are kind of ho hum...

What's with the *cough*, besides you smokin' too much homegrown, that is...

What do you know about the WOW beta, that's not common knowledge? Are you simply referring to the statement on blizzard.com about the delay of the public beta?

As far as I heard the public beta hasn't started yet, or do you have a "special tie" with the homies at Bliz who feeds you more up to date info?

Unfortunatly, WHEN it starts I woun't be eligible to participate as I live in Europe. Sucks! According to the master plan we will not be able to partipate until the last "server stress test" (remember D2) just before release sometime later this year (let's be realistic, it will ship in 2007, if you count the "Blizzard infinate testing factor").

Sorry if I read WAY to much into that cough, but coughing can be dangerous!

                                Cheers,
