I asked some russian immigrants I know here. Most know nothing about them, a few others will check with their cat owning friends (some remembered them having unusually big cats). One girl here (work) actually owned one back in russia.
One of the guys asked me what the hell do you feed a 16 pound cat with ?
"Mini Pincher" was my reply
After the initial shock/laugh, he started getting interested in that cat as well

Cats are free. The free ones usually have more personality, and they're not nearly as retarded. Go to the shelter, pay the $20 or so that they charge for the shots, and be happy. If they're old enough, they usually neuter/spay them at no cost to you. Although it's a little cruel, I've found that de-clawed cats are generally friendlier too.
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
I want a Maine coon myself, but I'm not willing to pay big bucks for one. So I'm looking for a stray/shelter with Maine coon looks to it. Not that hard to find, but kittens are hard to find this time of the year.
My current cat is a pisser....I'll take a nap on my couch and fold my arms over my chest and he'll hop up on me and pass out on my chest...just hope he does this when he gets full size or I'll suffucate!
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Let me explain once more:
I currently have 6 stray cats. I get as many as i want for free as they're all around my house.
I get them neutered for free.
De-clwaing cats is evil as it leaves them defenceless against foreign cats.
Any one else has wise-ass comments for me ?

I'm not sure what you mean by but each of us has his favorite sins. For once, my sin will be a Breed cat.
It's not like I'm going to breed it and make profit.
Actually I might let it breed once or twice and give the offsprings to some friends I know who happen to be allergic to cats. See ? I'll be doing a good thing by helping cat lovers and 'breaking the market'.
