That program just makes me wish I was still running Win98 even more. It uses so much memory that my 512 megs quickly fills up and starts swapping. WinXP for some reason slows down far, far worse than Win98 on the same system when free RAM starts getting scarce.

I wish I would have never installed this XP crap.
Good ole win2k was so much quicker (comparing 2 equal systems - my home rig has win2k and it eats my office winXP for supper)

Too much for this win2k with 256mb and only a C633 overclocked to 741mhz.

Probably doesn't help that the program's running on Java... it's bad when you can hear your computers gears grinding away processing the virtual machines gears grinding away trying to process a large 3D image.

I should try it when I get home since I have Athlon XP 1800, Win2k PRO and 1GB ram.

Works better at home but not perfect.

Yeah, I think the problem may just be that Sun's Windows Java machine is crummy, anyone want to try the Linux version?

Running fine on my Athlon Duallie... 1GB of RAM tho.

Maestro wanted to cache imaging using about 402MB of Memory.

Maestro Actually used 686 MB of my PF, CPU usage was appalling when rendering 3D scenes....Peaking out at 86% for both CPUs

Multiple Monitor users...this application IS multi-monitor aware.

Opened up on Display #2 of 3, with the console on Display #1.

Not for the faint of boxen, this software is a serious Resource Hog.

That's a pretty cool little app. Doesn't seem to be hogging my memory or stealing all my CPU to run it. What specifically are you guys doing with it under windows? The linux version here is running quite nicely. 512mb of RAM ad 3.06ghz CPU.

The app seems to work great on my machine... it does use almost 500MB of ram though... but wow... I like the compilation picture... even in black and white it show's how desolate the landscape is... the color picture to me looked alot different (colorwise) than I would have pictured the surface... but overall very cool
