Pretty good, except the last two are only placeholders. Are they also chinese? I do have chinese fonts installed, I think, because I can read the first three (?).

The sig is simplified not traditional.
          Could that be it?

            Flawless in Opera now.

Funny though that Safari could render them and Opera (on the same OS) couldn't - but only the last two.

                I don't know, I haven't changed anything - I thought you changed your sig.

I rebooted (got the mac equivalent of a BSOD, still not sure why I get these every few days), now it's fine. Opera for the Mac is unfortunately not very polished. Still the best browser for the best desktop OS IMHO.

                  Interesting.
They are easier to read on Windows Safari than Firefox.
Kind of bolded. Something to do with anti aliasing methods I bet.

PS I didn't change anything. They are unicode Chinese Simplified.

PPS And worked fine first try in Opera on Ubuntu Linux

Yeah Chuck, there was probably something off in Opera (way to drive home the point I make in my sig ).

Safari brings the Mac's font rendering to Windows - it generally looks smoother and closer to how prints look, but also somewhat more blurry than ClearType. The first few weeks on the mac I found this really disturbing and tiring, now I don't notice the blurriness anymore, but sometimes I still notice how nice and round fonts look
