BIG update It's vacation (sort of...) time So you'll have to excuse me, I have a social life to rebuilt :> Few days and I'll be back for good.

And I had to be really tired and frustrated when I was starting this topic, judging by its name

      40 minutes if I walk
30 - 35 Minutes if I go by bus. £1.40 each by bus though.
      15 - 20 Minutes by Car.

Prefer walking becuase if I go by Car I've got to leave at the same time to be sure of finding a parking place.

Local council hates cars but in restricting cars it also restricts buses.

1 hour each way by bicycle (15 miles)
1 hour 15 minute each way by bus (including time required to get to bus stop by bike)

Note that it takes 20 minutes on the bike just to get to the nearest bus stop (our transit is HORRID)

So that means 2-2.5 hours each day. I hope to move to downtown Minneapolis in a few months, bringing my commute down to 20 minutes on bicycle (including time to put bike in bike locker) or 15 minutes on the bus.
Let us return to the moon, to stay!!!

It's not the Journey it's the idiots you meet.

Oh it a green light I'll sit here and look at it.
Oh it's a red light I don't feel like stopping.
Oh it's a junction I'll stop or park across it.

I can see the office next to mine from my study at home. It takes about 10 minutes to walk - it actually takes longer to drive (with the traffic and the fact that the road is sort of meanders!

I use to hate the meager 40 minutes each way 'til I realized that this was the only time that I was alone and was not hearing someone else talking/moving around. Mmmm Quiet time. :^)................... Now it's 30 minutes each way and work is much more enjoyable.
