Repair warranties usually aren't for more than 30 days here. Doubt it would be a year there, but you could always argue with them.

Seriously: It's not that I don't like you, but your car obsession goes on my nerves

I'm not much older than you, BTW. But shouldn't you be thinking about SOMETHING other than cars at your age? (Girls, Boobs, Sex, or Boys, if you swing that way)

Now, it's enough that you make fun of his car obsession, but do you also have to pick on his sexual orientation ?

You know, his sexual orientation doesn't interest me in the least. One of my best friends is gay, and I think this shouldn't even be more a topic of conversation than favourite hair colour or breast sizes

I had the same thing happen last weekend. My 10 yr old Hitachi 50" Ultravision had it's first problem. It appears the convergence amp on the red gun went out and so I "Forced" myself to finally upgrade to an HDTV.
I ended up getting a Hitachi 51G500 (51" wide screen), upgrading my "Comcrap" service to digital HD and just got a Pronto TSU3000 on ebay last night.
I downloaded all the software I could find at Remote Central for the Pronto last night. Looks like the Pronto will keep me busy for awhile learning how to program it for all my components.
