This game is retarded. It's a perfect example of a new breed of game I like to call "retarded flash animation adventure-style games". People think they're amazing because nobody remembers REAL semi-graphical adventure games from good companies like Infocom.

Basically the ENTIRE challenge of this game is to "find the hotspot". You have NO idea where to click, so you have to click on every square inch of the screen and then say "oh hey! clicking up there leads me under the bed!"

Then to get the combination for the safe at the end, you have to visit a website that doesn't work. It's "1994" in case you even care.

There's an even WORSE game than this, in that it's much longer. I forget what it's called but it's about clones and escaping rooms and it's utterly retarded.

The amazing thing is that people around the world (do a web search for these things) think these things are BRILLIANT, when in reality you do a VERY intuitive and simple series of actions to get out.

The ONLY challenge is that you have to click miniscule hotspots. I'm told if you run this in the standalone flash player the "TAB" key might light up the hotspots, making the game MUCH easier.

And I kind of agree with Gurm - it's frustrating simply because there is so little logic, and the hotspots are a matter of random clicks rather than anything else.

You're right, of course. The "utterly retarded" game you're thinking about just might be Logan's Mystery Of Time and Space (MOTAS) (currently unavailable methinks). It is annoying, but still the best of its kind in that it occasionally requires at least SOME logical thinking.

Yeah, the "Mystery of Time and Space" one ... logic? LOGIC?

You click unrelated items on unrelated things! And half the time the Flash is broken so even if you DO the correct actions, it doesn't work.
