  • You know some things in life should be simple

Like changing a broken head light on a car. The seal went and the glass fell out.

Guess what you have to do on my Clio.

    1) Take Bonnet off.

    2) Take Bumper off

Then in Theory you can get to all the bolts etc.

Well the Bonnets a two person job and I don't think my Mothers up to it at 70+. Plus theres supposed to be 60 - 70 mph gusts this Saturday.

So basically it's a no go off to the garage.

If I see the engineer who designed the car I'll stick up his/hers arse. Stupid idiots.

The next step will be bolted hood.

I replaced blinker that I broke in a minor crash on Renault 5 that belonged to company I worked for.

It was already a bit hard to access on that car.

Wow! I don't even need any tools to replace my headlights. All I need to do is pop the hood and twist the light and voila!
      Titanium is the new bling!

My left, headlight is like yours Zokes, my right headlight requires that I remove the battery to replace. So far, my left headlight has burned out twice in the six years I've owned the car. Knock on wood, my right headlight hasn't burned out yet.
        P.S. You've been Spanked!

Sounds like you have a Chrysler (or Dodge or Plymouth) minivan, like me.

            1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.

What a crappy car. I've spent a small fortune keeping it on the road. Can barely wait to replace it.

I'm holding out for a Ford Escape Hybrid.

Ya know, some people have been complaining about headlights being too easy to remove, you should be glad yours are difficult to get at.
