Very very unfunny. I agree with Admiral. There's also an ad here where the Streetka kills a white dove that just happens to be flying by. Even if I did like the car, the ads would be enough for me to not even consider buying it.

Aw come on guys. It's not real. It's only a commercial (as Michael Winner would say).

Anyway, apparently Ford UK had this made up as a viral internet ad, but then decided that they didn't want to release it as it was a bit much. However somehow it got leaked and started getting around quickly (hey - it's viral)

Ford is embarrassed by this, and have issued a public apology a long with an explanation that "no cats were hurt, it's all CGI."

here's one for all dog lovers too (this one was aired over here but taken off after complaints from animal rights groups). And I do think the cat one was a bit much, but I don't see the problem as it never was used as commercial.
