Maybe you should make that more clear, then (If Brian has to ask, maybe prospective buyers ask themselves the same question, but are too lazy to mail or phone you).

It sounded obvious, but so little is made of real natural materials anymore that I thought it needed asking.

If you ask me, that is a really nice selling point.

Well, I haven't sold any of our regular products yet. And I figured out why today. We do quite a bit of wholesale sales, and as it turns out, several of our clients are all ready selling our stuff on eBay. I have the stuff listed at our suggested retail prices, the other ppl selling our stuff are selling it cheaper. No chance of making sales that way. Hasn't yet been decided if we are going to lower our eBay prices, as it could potentially piss off existing wholesale customers if they see we are undercutting them...

What has been moving is those carved log bears. Already sold 4 of em, with another inquiry on one today. Unfortunatly, those aren't regular items for us, just old dead stock that's been sitting in the shop for 2 years. It's the only thing there we don't make ourselves, and the guy who used to make them for us is no longer doing it.

I have 14 bears still listed, and a couple dozen not yet listed that I hope to get on there next week.

Folks seem to love these bears. Better get one before they're gone

In that pic, I still have all 6 as of now, but the inquiry I got today was for one of the brown ones (she hadn't decidied yet). So as of this posting, they are all still fair game

Tell her I've got some great new glass container candles that she'd love that aren't on the web site or eBay store yet that will sell for $16-20, and I'll toss one in the box if ya buy a bear

tjalfe- we do that sort of thing all the time. The big order of slate picture frames we got for an in-state hotel is for a convention, where they will be given out as gifts to the atendees, and our sticker/web site addy will be on stickers on the back of them...

Excellent.. Perhaps suggest such use on your site too

(if it is already there, I missed it when I looked over the site )

So, these bears are still the only thing moving. Shipped another out this morning. 5 sold, 13 left. Or so I thought...

I tell my uncle these bears have been selling. He tells me he has some more in his garage, maybe a couple dozen, come get em if I want em.
I go there earlier this eve to pick em up.
                          Couple dozen my butt.

                          SIXTY more bears!
Filled the bed and back seat of pop's giant pickup. We got some looks on the highway, with an army of carved bears lined up in ranks in the back of the truck

Anyway, these should keep me busy for a while :P
(though there is a guy in Alabama who bought one last week, loves it, and turns out he owns a mini-mall and might buy out the whole bunch of em for resale )
