Seriously, if you often feel down then try not to concentrate on it, take a walk somehwere nice, hang out with some good friends, otherwise it'll consume your soul.
I often get depressed, but I always manage to pull through. You just can't let those feelings take over otherwise you'll just fall deeper and deeper in the hole. Think about the good things in your life, and forget about the bad.
