I got word from other people that it was actually crazy weather, but the instructor is one of the best pilots we have.
It was not an 'introductory lesson' (those also exist here): I'm also following theorylessons (since oktober), the exams are coming up shortly...

I'm really looking out to my second: I apparently get to initiate take off and landing, and additional manoeuvres in the air. The instructor did congratulate me on my turns: even the first turn I made was balanced !

Well, just had the second lesson: I got to take off (twice), land (more or less twice) and we pulled the plane in stall (a couple of times)... Very strange feeling: you just put the throttle to the minimum, and start pulling up the nose. Suddenly, an alarm sounds, after which the nose just drops down rapidely.
Landing was without engine: the runway is long enough (it is an international airport), and it is said to be easier (no need to worry about the engine).



I can't begin to tell how cool it was... Weather wasn't perfect, but suitable enough: not too much wind, quite low clouds (but luckily not too low), no rain (shortly after landing it did start), ...

My dad tok me for a short flight the other day. Weather was Soo nice. It was late in the evening and the sun was setting. Wonderfull.

Oh and BOY can that old man fly! The landing was pure genious.

I have never seen anyone "take the elevator" as surely as that. Wooooump.
