Nothing like wasting tax payers money

Two council workers laying down yellow lines. One of them is stood in water from the leaking water main which means of course it's all going to be dug up within a few days.

Okay these guys may not have the highest IQ but don't they realise they're wasting their time.

If they're anything like city workers in the states, then they just do as they're told when they're told and they don't get paid to think. They just collect their paychecks and don't stick their necks out and do their best to stay under the radar.

This may be a gross generalization, but as a former city employee I'm somewhat qualified to comment on the subject .

speaking of wasting tax payer dollars, a couple of days ago local news reported that a completely empty condo complex built for sale to low income people was sitting vacant because those who it was built for cannot get financing... and those in charge never saw that aspect of the equation!

DOH! who hires these idiots?!
