Germany out, Holland through!

To be honest, the Netherlands deserve it more than we did anyway. Except for some 15 minutes we played quite poorly, against a quite poor Czech B-Team. And when finally a good man came in (Milan Baros) he shot the goal. Not to think how high we would've lost against Nedved etc.

Despite all that i'm hoping for Czech now!

To be honest that was embarrassing. Czech B team wasn't even trying for 90% of the game. Shocking display. If I was the German team I would go on a long vacation as the press is going too destroy them.

Nah no such thing will happen. We're hoping for the younger players who showed the best performance today anyway.

On the displays in this championship Germany have got a long long way to go before they build a new good team.

England, Holland or Czechs, i'm pretty sure one of them will make it. Good thing is that dull football (Germany, Italy) was not rewarded this EURO.
PS. That was the first win for the Czechs against Germany since 1976 in 19 games

Germany put a real bad performance in all three games and they are rightfully out of EURO... Great job Czechs!

I also hope they win the tournament. They play fun-to-watch attacking football, what is a nice move from dull games Italy and Germany used to give and win in the past.

Pity they showed the German game on ITV. Dead poor and won't attract any new comers. I did have the odd chuckle over the lack of effort and the commentators not realising this. If Germany had won Holland would have gone nuts since Czech's were clearly making no real effort. Luckily Germany were so poor a 3rd divison english league side could have beaten them.
