I grew up with Superfriends. Superman was the best. I loved all the movies as a kid and I collected the Superman cards.

I absolutely despise Superman. Batman at its best (wishing Year One gets made) is the greatest comic book character ever. I voted for Daredevil cause he was one of my favorites growing up; movie was only okay.

Well I have to give props to Iron Man. Not my favorite, but one that many people overlook. I think I heard that there's a movie in the works now.

I was at a comic book convention in the mid 90s where some guy from Marvel was saying that they'd made an Iron Man movie but it got destroyed in the editing process and would probably never see the light of day. It was filmed as a multi-part mini series but then the network asked for it to be re-cut into a 90 minute movie and then they asked for it to be re-cut again into a 60 minute special and by then it had lost all coherency.

Speaking of movies, did anyone see the Fantastic 4 movie made also about 10 years ago? I remember seeing teasers and a mini trailer for it and seeing an interview with like a producer or something talking about how they'd spent the majority of the entire project's budget on the Thing's costume. They were really proud of the work they did on the costume and didn't want anyone to see it outside of the movie (kind of like Howard Duck). Then I seem to remember hearing a rumor that someone high up saw the finished product and decided its overall production values weren't high enough and refused to release it. I don’t know if the rumor was true. Maybe it was released direct to video.

to me each super hero has his or her own strengths and weaknesses which is very intreging.
If you put in context, we all have strenghts and weaknesses ourselves so we can relate to our beloved super heros

Green lantern and Spidey are pretty close in my books, but green lantern get my vote(been a long time since I have read any green lantern tho)

Anyone seen Equilibrium? If Christian Bale is as good in the new Batman movie as he is in it then we haven't much to worry about

The one I'm also looking forward to is Jennifer Garners return in "Elektra", which recently began filming in Vancouver.

Elektra apparently starts right where DareDevil left her.....laying on a roof after an attack by BullsEye.

I've never watched her TV show but ever since I saw her being interviewed for Dare Devil, I've been a fan.

I can't even imagine why her idiot ex-husband could have divorced her. I heard a rumor that he was jealous of her career. What a loser!
