You're welcome. You'll have to tell me how it is. I've been thinking about buying it for a while.

Well, it arrived yesterday and I read it today.

I have to say, I'm not super impressed.

The art is ok, better than I could draw, but not up to my expectations based on the web site. In fact, the art feels more like a story board or concept proposal, than a finished product. It reminds me a lot of the concept art I saw in the documentaries on the making of episode 1.

The story is also, only ok. It's short and not very deep, more of a thin thread that joins the images, and many of the images are not that great. I like short sci-fi fiction, the really good stuff makes you think. This doesn't do that. It becomes very predicatable as soon as the first secrets are revealed. It doesn't keep you guessing at all. It also wraps up too neatly and too quickly, as if they ran out of art and had to bring things to a conclusion.

Seems like a good idea for a TV movie, if done with enough budget. Not good enough for a cinema release.

That said, it's worth the time to read but not the price; PM me with your shipping address and I'll send you my copy.
