                      ...if there's one thing I don't like is lack of continuity... (the Alien series is a good example of how to mess a great series).

                      what with this one?? is this an n-th version? what with character aging (or lack thereof), technology changes and whatnot? whatever...

                        It's supposed to be the beginning of it all.

                        We'll see. I'm getting to be pretty accepting of alternate story lines w.r.t. comics. After all, comics rewrite their own history so often, having a movie tell yet-another-version isn't that big of a deal to me.

                        I just hope the movie doesn't suck.
