      I am at a loss of words facing this greatest tragedy. I hope we never forget and it never happens again.

        I dunno if it was the greatest tragedy. The bubonic plague was pretty bad, the thirty years war was pretty bad, WW1 and WW2 both were pretty bad..

        And who knows how bad an invasion of the Japanese home islands would have been?

        Wars are like that.. not much good to be said about them, especially those bloodbaths that resulted from a "balance of power." I really hope we are past this now, but I fear we might not be.
