Months ago I did this walk and was faced with this rather steep hill.
So I followed the direct less well trodden in my face path up the slope. A slight rest near the summat and I looked for the path for the way down.
Well the first step looked like 100 hundred drop down if you missed your step plus about 500ft rolling. Bollocks to that so I turned round and err shit about the same.
Okay where did the sensible people go on the way up ah that way.
I took the longer way round and checked the route. Needless to say there wasn't a well troden path down from where I orginally bottled it.
