          Nope

          This tool will cause a heavy bias favouring None (and Kerry to some extent) over Bush and especially the Independents.

          Look at the shapes. When one randomly picks the ball, it'll fit into the right shape without a hassle.

          The Independents' piece however need to be put in exactly right. Loads of people will give up, even if they find the right hole cause they can't figure out the position...

          Kerry's slot can be fitted in six ways, but Bush's can only fit in three ways.

          I smell trouble...

              It doesn't matter, they'll still figure out a way for Bush to carry Florida. They'll make the the triangle the smallest relative to the hole or the square the heaviest or something.

                      @jms: LOL

                      @Joel: For some reason I'm sure that some will try and force that triangle where it doesn't belong.

                        Well, technically, it's like this:

                        None - infinite ways
                        Independent - 2 ways (frontwards or backwards)
                        Bush - 6 ways (three frontwards, three backwards)
                        Kerry - 24 ways (six sides, four orientations per side)
                        Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

                          Actually after studying this system a little closer I can see maybe a problem with it. Unless the other three shapes are slightly bigger than the square then any of the shapes could fit into the Kerry opening. Then we will get into that "determining the intent of the voter" crap again.

                            It's Fischer-Price, I'm pretty sure they have a 1:1 mapping going on. Still, voting for Kerry would be the best choice.

                              @Umfriend, that was a very insightful observation. Funny on many levels.

                              @jms, that was just plain funny.
