It is clearly a glacial valley with a medium-large river and mountains at about 3000 m, judging from the tree line. Pure guess, but I'll plump for the Alps, maybe the Inn valley in Austria???Brian (the devil incarnate)

Since I know now I'll never guess 99.9999% of the pictures shown, I'll just toss mine in and let people guess or ignore as they feel.
Doh, left the file name on the picture, and when I deleted it so I could post it again with a random name the file attachment buttons dissapeared.

Sorry to be so long in getting back.. been a bit busy lately. I'm surprised that no one guessed my pic, though.. especially with all the Canadians here.. whoops! (That was a clue, in case no one guessed.. another clue would be the filming location of Kevin Costner's recent western flick.)Comment

So, somewhere in the rockies KvH? BTW, for my pics, the first two are in Johnston Canyon, which is in Banff National Park. The third and forth are in Fernie, BC. I went to both of these places during this past winter for some epic snowboarding
