              • Yup, SB has it, well done! Kuching is the capital of Sarawak in EAST Malaysia (not West! ), a small city. The inhabitants are largely Chinese traders and Ibans, although the mosque shows there is also a largish Malay community. We visited there, on a rare holiday, 10 years ago. Most transport, outside of a 50 km radius round Kuching is by water. Wildlife is abundant and we saw many mammal, bird species (and felt some insect ones!).

                Your turn, SB!

                      • Hmmm! Not much to go on. Possibly in fairly high latitudes, judging from the vegetation, but little clue as to whether its N or S. In fact, could be almost anywhere. I'll make a stab: Cape Horn???

                          • Believe me, it was a total stab in the dark, judging from the vegetation. As Novdid confirmed it, I googled it and re-confirmed it, so am offering this tricky one. The name of the city, please. Clue: it is the capital city of one of the 192 nations which are UN members, so you have a 191:1 chance to guess it right
