Wait for the ones in the US and Canada to come up (I wouldn't have a clue with any from Canada, but Boston, Houston and possibly some of the cities you see in films and TV I might manage...)

Besides if someone does London you might stand a chance (although to be fair it depends which bit)

Well Zokes, if by some random occurence it turns out that I was right with Lake Como, you can have my turn... I am off home now and don't have internet at home at the moment (loong story involving BT admitting to lots of c*ck-ups that I might tell later if really really bored...)

Umfriend has it. It's the Genfersee, Lac Léman or Lake of Geneva, taken from a spot near Ouchy, Lausanne. What may have made it difficult was it was an exceptionally clear day and was taken on full telephoto, making the Alps look closer and bigger than you would normally see them in reality.

                        Go it, Um!

guess I should pay attention to this thread having been in many major cities... would have got Chucks Charlotte NC "Nation's Bank" Tower right off the bat... it's now called Bank of America... and before that was called NCNB (NikNib .. I installed the AV systems in both... along with the federal reserve bank a few blocks away and Barclay's American Bank (to name a few)

The building on the right in the background was NCNB's old building prior to the name change to Nation's Bank... one of my odd jobs was to maintain the then scale models/displays of the main tower across the street at Lincoln Properties (who leased the building space) from the 35th story where we had one heck of an impressive view... ahh the good old days

BTW all these buildings are interlinked across something like 6 city blocks to a mall located in different buildings... very neat. Just bring a compass or you'll loose track of where you be (prior to the days of GPS

Actually Brian, what made it *easy* was that it had loads of water and you have some sort of connection to Switzerland

OK, leme come up with something.

                              Been there!

It's more a "what" than it is a "where" so you gotta guess both.

I don;t think I'll give hints, but I could send in other pcitures of the same city.
