I read on IMDB that there's an unrated version. Judging by what was left in, the mind boggles at what might have been cut out.
The upside of this movie is that it's full of artistic symbolism so you can see it with your girlfriend and not have to worry that she'll be pissed afterward. And if you do five minutes of research about the movie before hand, you'll be able to explain all the hidden symbolic messages in the film to your significant other and she'll think that you're a genius and must have been to busy concentrating on the plot to be focusing on Ludivine.

The guys aren't hot in this movie. The closest one to being hot looks like a porn star from the 60s. That's one of the symbolic images.
