Man, Liquid was gone for two weeks and no one noticed, and another was gone for a few months and no one noticed. Next time you leave, be gone for more than 6 months, maybe then someone will notice!

Welcome back, how was DragonCon?

The first day was a bit confusing but very entertaining. The Firefly group (Jewel Staite - Kaywinnit Lee 'Kaylee' Frye, Nathan Fillion - Capt. Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds, and Adam Baldwin - Jayne Cobb) were hillarious. The fans got Adam to sing the folkish robin hood like song from one episode. Adam showed up at some club's initiation even and got initiated. Jewel and Nathan wen to two more planned events and Jewel showed up at one of the fan discussion panels which was a nice surprise. They had neat gifts for some of the fans including unique snapshots from the set, some sort of communicator and a couple of pieces of alliance money and were giving them out to people that were asking questions. Nathan even paticipated in the Stormtrooper game that was going on.

The Buffy trac was kind of boring. There were no stars so they trac had very little to go with though they were trying. They did have an exact replica of puppet angel available for pictures and it was one of the prizes given out. My favorite line from that episode was from Spike (James Marsters), "You're a bloody puppet!"

Peter Jurasik (Centauri Ambassador and later emporer Londo Mollari), Jason Carter (Marcus Cole - An important Ranger) and another I cannot remember at this time were at a panel and I bought two autographs from Peter one in full costume and makeup and the other as a normal person. They were all very appreciative as was the Firefly cast.

There were plenty of incredible costumes including some extremely damn hot looking fairies, a trio of Halo soldiers, Joxer "The Mighty" and Gabriele in perfect costumes from Xena, and many others. I will post what pics I have. There were plenty of stormtroopers, almost a dozen ghostbusters and a few klingons on motorcycles in the parade. A pair of them escorted Nathan Fillion and Jewel Staite of stage for "stealing imperial droids". Half of the cosutmes were pathetic but the other half were astonishing. Not as much skin as I was lead to believe but there was enough. The first woman in costume I saw was jiggling her way up a sidewalk.

Forgot for a bit: Julie Benz (Darla in Buffy and ANgel) was at a couple of events. I have some good close pictures of her.
