  • Woohoo, I passed!!

    W O O H O O !
    I
    p a s s e d !

Last week, I went to Brussels for the theory-examination of my PPL (private pilot license) training. I was a bit nervous: you must have 75% for every course, and all exams were multiple choice. Just this morning, I got my results in the mail:
    air law: 15/16
    meteo: 11/12
    performance calculations: 15/16
    human performance/limitations: 9/12
    navigation: 15/16
    operational procedures: 12/12
    aerodynamics: 15/16
    radio communication: 12/12
    general knowledge/engine:11/12

There is just one course that was a close call... 9/12 , but still, it was enough...
    (/me does the happy dance...)

    Congratulation
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

I'm not sure how to translate it... It is a course which concerns the human body: optical problems (e.g. rain, illusions whan approaching a runway smaller than normal, ...), forbidden medicines, spotting hypoxy (lack of O2), G-forces and their consequences on the body, blood donations, psychology, ...

                              A weird kind of course...

Thanks guys, now I'm continuing my practical lessons (I already have 7 hours in my pilot log). Still quite a lot to go...
