Some idea...rebuild it almost as it was...but with a large "In memoriam" sort of place...in the form of "halls" in the places where planes crashed, with exterior elements somewhat resembling some known photos of outside elevation elements lying on the ground in horizontal posiotion after the buildings collapsed...

Ever heard of CWIS? You might have seen it in The Sum of All Fears. CWIS is a 30mm ultrafast gatling gun, in this case mounted to the aircraft carrier as a last ditch self defense weapon. It takes out most of the missles aimed at the carrier. They need to mount one on the top of the new wtc whatever design they adopt.

yea you can tell with the design.. i took a picture of it, but it happens to be on my ocmputer which isnt hooked up to the internet. so i'll have to get that in a few days and show you. its actually a nice design

Been on the news here most of the evening. Apparently, new footage has been released by the American government (after being reviewed by the families of the casualties). Little can compare to the dread in watching that.
