Have a good trip Liz, you will enjoy it. Japan is an awesome country and if you like oriental food in the slightest you will have cravings for the food there long after you return.

It's a different place from anywhere here in the states, but if I can enjoy it on a work trip, it should be wonderful on a holiday (vacation).
