Saw it for the first time last night, looked and sounded awesome in the theater even though it was an ancient print that was showing and sounding it's age. Not exactly a good movie to bring your kids to see though... they'd be a tad confused and disturbed to say the least.

Wow, I just assumed everyone has seen this movie. Definitely a classic.

I take it we are not discussing Pink Floyd?

The theater where my brother works rents out one screen on weekends for special midnight movies. I got to see Clockwork Orange for the first time there, and watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail on a movie screen is a tad cooler than just watching the DVD at home.

Great stuff. Have it on LD as well as CD. PF was some of my first music, outside of classical.

Funny you mention that. There is a part in the movie where some guy has a huge afro with orange hair but no one seems to remember or notice that part. It took me probably 10 times before I noticed it.

ClockWork Orange, The Killing and Dr. Strangelove are what convinced me that Stanley Kubrick was a genius. His other works just confirmed it.
