  • The best commercial yet!!!

Audi created one of the most spatacular commercials that will take you back to 1930's all the way to the present, a history never to be forgotton for those that love the mark.

    Check it out at http://people.msoe.edu/~yoderw/stuff...vorsprung.mpeg

Note: the only location I was able to find this file was at the above link, it's a bit slow and the mpeg is 40MB.

    ENJOY!!!!!

A slightly modified version of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

If you like it, this is the recording I would recommend.

The first thing that pops into my mind is Monty Python:

"It's only a car" (said to the tune of "It's only a model.")

And yep, excellent CD there KvH, got a little selection of various Telarc CD's myself.

I find it a bit too American (IE too manny cliches and enforced PC) for my taste.

For instance the cars from the 30's. In 30's NSDAP promoted automobilism by creating KDF (State union organisation Kraft durch Freude (Power through Joy) that enabled workers to save and afford vacations and a car for little guy was designed - to become VW beetle after war), building highways and giving money to companies to compete in grand prix. Since they split money between Mercedes and Autounion, this created competition, but both German companies were far ahead of any other European team in the 30's. They were to introduce inovations that made it in other racing teams only post war. (IE alu construction, self supporting frame, streamlined alu body - the one that reaches 400km/h).

After the war Ferdinand Porsche who was designer at Auto Union (also responsible for VW beetle and few panzer designs) moved to Austria and founded Porsche.

Basically it was a state prestige promoting NS.

I have hard time imagining, what Ali, Mandela, King and Einstein have to do with this.

I guy walks up to a prostitute and asks if she is free.
The lady takes him back to her room so that they can discuss business. The guy is happy to pay the price but warns here that he has a few kinky ideas that he wants to explore. The lady being well travelled is happy to oblige.

A few minutes later they are bonking away and the guy leans over and asks if she can start quacking like a duck. The lady is a tad perplexed but thinks what the hell. A few minutes later (and a lot of quacking) the guy leans around again and asks if he can put these four springs under her arms and legs. The lady again feels a bit confused but sees no harm in it. Moments later she is experiencing the best sex she has ever had. She said "that's amazing, how did you find out about this?' The bloke replies, "ahh, it's the four-sprung-duck technique"

                Oh dear!
Well, I am hung over and crap at telling jokes, but you get the idea!
