I want to get slicks when I can, but $ prevents that right now.

The car has 215s on it now, which is the widest you can go on a stock wheel without rubbing...but, I have rims with a different offset, so i MAY get away with 225s. We'll see.

A Quaife LSD is also in my future.

      Yeah, back seat good!

Hmm, what about a limited slip differential? That would defenitely make a difference in traction.

I know, just throwin' some ideas, which you probably already thought of.

Hey, do you have a garage to do all your work in?

Fortunately, I do (Thank God). Until 13 months ago, I lived in an apartment (on the 3rd floor) and had to do most of my mods in the parking lot. That was a MUCH bigger pain than you could possibly imagine. Need to use a power tool...or even a LIGHT? Pray that a friendly neighbor on the first floor is home and run an extension cord through their window. Getting dark and can't see what you're doing? Move the car under a street light if you can. Cold as hell? Getting eaten alive by mosquitos? Deal with it. Gotta use the bathroom/phone/computer/etc? Not until you pack all of the tools/parts into the car and lock it...only to undo it 10 minutes later.

So needless to say, when I went to buy a place (I have a townhouse now), I refused to even look at anything without a garage. The one I have is small, but it's just big enough to fit my tools, car, and motorcycle.

Next time around, I'll look for a 2 car garage, and I'd really like to put a lift on one side (they only run about $3K).

Kooldino: is all your engine work completely NA? Or is there some FI going on under that hood?

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I still live in an apartement so any repairs are a bitch. I practically froze my hands off when I installed my cold air intake. Wish I had a garage myself.

                Edit:

Yeah, while the LSD may not make your car seem faster, it certainly will be yellower (or any other color) then

Oh, there's some FI going on under that hood, to say the least.

My car only came with 140hp, and even the Speed World Challenge proteges only make a non-streetable N/A ~250hp, and the motors cost ~$20K.

The best power I've seen, by a longshot, out of an N/A Protege on the street is around 180chp. That's by a guy who is an engineering student at Penn State University, who machined custom pistons, rods, and cams. Insane.

So in short, FI is more cost efficient AND more productive.

                        T3 Turbo...

I'm pretty sure I posted a dyno here and you commented on it. Lemme go search.

The Rock - here we go, here's my dyno. And yeah, you commented on page 2.

I make more power now that I fixed that MAF limitation issue. I'd say between 10 and 25 more hp, tops.
