What was the scariest game you ever played?

And I still have to play in Sanitarium & System Shock 2...

I'm split between Half-Life (1) and Doom3, those two really made me shiver and shake at times ...

Another one for me was "The 7th Guest" being the first dos based game I played with all the cool graphics and cinematics!

Stauff was one hell of character!

i was putting my new pc parts together and realized too late that my new mobo is 3 inches too big for my old case

so all the parts are spread thru the living room floor for now.


luckily a friend dropped off her laptop to leave here. thank god or i would have nothing to do for the next three weeks off from work

Lizzie, when you get your PC all built and ready to go, install Doom 3 and do the following...

Turn off the lights
Make sure your volume is turned way up or use headphones or better yet, if you have surround capabilities... go for it!!
Launch Doom 3 and enjoy!

Once you get to the Lab and all hell breaks loose, you will get the shivers where ever you go from there

yes 3d real time generated fractal 3d maps is terrifying thing to do on an 8 bit computer..

I would say doom 2(pitch black...and NO torch) and doom3 , less points for having a torch
