Tofu chowder ?? Vegetarian sushi ??

I've never understood why vegans refuse to drink/eat dairy products/eggs, wear wool etc. If everyone did that, sheep, cows, hens etc. would be extinct species, so there would be no animals to protect.

Agreed. I can eat salmon without rapping the Pacific Northwest's deteriorating stock.

@Brian:
The point is that majority of these products are made in horrible conditions. Dairy cows are fed hormones and the milking machines rip their nipples off. Similar conditions for eggs and such.

Anyways, milk just tastes nasty to me. Oh and tofu is a great ingredient in cooking.
