  • 'Tis the season to be purchasing

Be sure to go out this merry season and be a well adjusted consumer by buying lots of expensive stuff. Don't forget to use those credit cards too, you wouldn't want the lenders to go hungry.

Ha! Money for gifts, that's a good one.

I guess I just find the "presents on Christmas" thing to be rather pathetic. Which kind of gift sounds better, the one that was given because "everyone else is doing it" or the random surprise that's given just because it's fun to make someone happy?

Plus I can't stand driving when the roads are clogged with the angry hordes who are out shopping for presents (which is what pushed me to the point of wanting to vent a bit.)

Ugh I don't even want to talk about it right now...

I have gotten a Dyson Vaccum, a 50in RCA DLP TV with stand, and an Xbox in the past week. Oh and I ordered a Bedroom set that I'll be getting in before Xmas.

Only good thing is that I have the money for the bedroom set and the TV is 18 months intrest free And getting extra spending money from my GI bill is nice also...Long story

Yeah, but I love the looks on the kids faces when they open presents. Luckily my kids are not to the age where they want really expensive gifts yet...

My dad's got a Digital Rebel too, plus a pile of lenses, it's pretty nice. Also, if you're brave, you can hack the firmware to enable a few extra features.
