Some more good trailers have hit lately:
Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt finally gets a little Hollywood lone'n in an adaptation of the book Sahara. Matthew McConaughey gets the part of Dirk Pitt, which seems to fit his personality:
C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Waredrobe is getting some WETA loving (WETA did the effects and props for the Lord of the Rings movies). They seem to be working the same magic with Narnia as they did with LotR. Here's a featurette with some teasers for ya'll:
The Pink Panther starring Steve Martin? hmmmm...
Kincking and Screaming reminds me of Gurm for some reason ...
Sin City got a new trailer with more scenes of Jessica Alba pole-dancing in a skimpy cowgirl outfit ... need I say more?
Adam Sandler in a prison football flick ...
The New World starring Colin Farrell as a European explorer arriving in modern day Jamestown, Virginia in 1607. Looks rather interesting. I would expect to see the tensions between settlers and Indians played out, as well as (from what I saw in the trailer) good old fashion ethic sexual tension between Farrell and some fine Indian woman.
WOO HOO!!!! Jet Li finally dumped Joel Silver! He may actually release a good American movie now!!! Unleashed looks very promising Jet Li, Morgan Freeman, and Bob Hoskins as one evil SOB:
Tim Burton and Johnny Depp doing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ... sigh ... this is a better version of the other trailer posted. Still looks ... distrbing, but then again, it is a Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie.
DON'T PANIC
I am officially sick of old sitcom remakes. I don't care IF Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell are starring in it ... it needs to stop. Well ... maybe after the Jessica Simpson wearing Daisy Dukes thing is done ... then they can stop.
Freaky... http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchs...ark_water.html
I always wondered why Boondock Saints never saw the light of day ...
You just can't make a xXx movie without Vin ... but it still may be entertaining:
Disney's second foray into a true CG movie is ... Chicken Little? They have seriously run out of good stuff to pilfer stories from.
That's all for now.
