The Guinness Draught I've drank seemed to be very good, probably the best beer I've tasted. Thus I figured I'd try some Guinness Extra Stout, but was disgusted, it was awful... ended up just pouring it down the drain.

I got started on GES in college. Guinness draught is just foamy on top and flat on the bottom.

I love them both, just depends on the occassion. But I'm presently enjoying an Extra Stout

I actually picked up a sixpack of each about an hour ago to compare.. still comparing.

Although I prefer extra stout, I doubt the draught will sit in the fridge long.

Extra Stout just pips in ahead... Draught is fine by me as well

Guinness, both, but only in Eire !
The bottles here are awful once you have had it in Eire.

I've only has Extra by the bottle. Draught I've had from the bottle, can, and keg. Fresh Draught wins, but maybe fresh Extra would be good.

Guiness Draught, but I prefer Black Butte Porter or Terminator Stout from a McMenamins.

Not really a guiness drinker, but had to have a pint of it in the pub yesterday afternoon to stop my hands shaking. It did the trick and got me up and drinking again

Somehow managed to escape a hangover today (perhaps it was the champagne at lunch that stopped it coming but hey, I'm not complaining.

Perhaps I should have specified the draught that comes in a bottle or can as opposed to the real stuff. I prefer it from a keg as well, but that's not a fair comparison.
