Ack the smoke

We had some bush/plantation fires start late last week.(mad pyro in action)

It was quite bad on Saturday(check out webcam video, about half way through the day)

Some cool weather and a bit of rain got it under control , but with the weather heating up its way worse today(wednsday).

No life lost yet but, it could get nasty.

Emergency agencies are saying use headlights when driving , stay inside, turn off airconditioning..etc

Might get a good sunset but the city is choking..

and thats another reason why I like to leave Perth during summer times.

wasn't it last year where you weren't allowed to switch on the airconditioning when it was smoking hot?

Deliberatly lit and there is a $100,000 reward for any one who finds the responsible shithead.

Its moslty a pine plantation and national park that went up, we had ash rain down on us and it must be at least 20km a way

Apparently the power situation has been improved, western power copped so much shite over it last time they have boosted there hot weather capacity (better cooling extra reserv...etc)

This has been a full week of smoked out conditions, I pity anyone with asthma or any lung problems, it must be hell for them.
