      Nice thing about the Encore (and its predecessor, the Contender) is that it has interchangeable barrels. You can practice all year using a small (and cheap) caliber in the exact same frame then ramp things up a few weeks before big game season starts.

        Americans and your guns... sheesh.

        If I want self defense, I'll carry my hockey stick around thank you very much. That way I'll not only be prepared to knock-out a mugger, I can break out into a spur of the moment hockey game.

          hard to conceal a hockey stick. If you are a bigger framed person, then something like this should be easily hidden til needed
