    Constantine...

    Just got back from it - I rather enjoyed it. Thought that they did a pretty good job with the movie, one of the better ones I've seen in a while. Never read the comic, so I have no comparison there.

    Anyone else seen it yet?

    Yeah, sneaked it last night, other than the whole "Hey, it's Neo, this must be another version of the Matrix" thing it was pretty good.

        i guess. it's a shame. i thought they acctually did a good job with the characters. but thats me.

              I saw it Sunday. Thought it was good, and its set up for a sequel. I've never read nor head of the comic either.

                    I liked it a lot.

                    The reason you've never heard of the comic is that the comic isn't called Constantine... he's just a character in it. The comic is called Hellblazer.

                            Well, I Hated it!

                            The story is loosely (amazingly loosly) based on 4-5 issues from the comic.

                            The movie is so "Americanized" and dumbed down that I can puke on it....

                            Firstly, Constantine has runins with "mystic" stuff from all religions not just "christianity".

                            Secondly, He never ever uses any kind of firearms (the whole idea with the guns in that movie is retarded)

                            Thirdly, they could have changed all names and no one would ever have suspected that it had anything to do with the Hellblazer comic
                            If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

                            Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."
