we both know where we stand legaly, so lawyers are not a huge issue - the only good thing, with her being an ex-junior lawyer, is she knows the only people that win in that case are the lawyers.
Lawyers here are not cheap, it would set each of us back about $6k to get lawyers involved.

Why don't you propose that you each get the other a nice $1k parting gift instead of giving money to lawyers? Nice way to make an amicable end and save $5k apiece as well.Comment
