Clocky is a clock for people who have trouble getting out of bed. When the snooze bar is pressed, Clocky rolls off the table and finds a hiding spot, a new one every day.

It hangs above your bed; when it goes of, you hit it. It then pulls itself up a bit, and goes off again. And this story repeats till you can't reach it.
We've had an alarm clock for the last 2 and a half years. It ALWAYS wakes us up in the morning, and quite often in the night too. It doesn't need batteries, just a regular supply of organic matter.
It even knows our names and wakes us up with a very loud yell of "MUMMY! DADDY!"
We've also have a reserve alarm clock for the last seven years (It was originally our main time-keeper, but has become less reliable over the years). If for some reason the main clock doesn't go off, we can be sure this one will need attention.
I should add that we expect the performance of both alarms to deteriorate as time goes on. In particular we expect that when we have had each of them for around 13 years they will become particularly useless in this respect, and will try to impose their own schedules, probably not starting until pm most days.
I could use one of those but it would have to be loud. Normal alarm clocks do not work for me. I dont hear them. My current alarm clock is a stereo system with 2 - 15" 400 Watt speakers.
Clocky is awesome though
