I didn't know that there was an American $2 bill.
Up until it was replaced with a coin, we've had a $2 bill in wide circulation here in Canada.
I remember being a kid on vacation in the States and going to a video game arcade with my Dad's friend’s son. I had the guy selling tokens break a twenty, and without giving it much thought told him what denominations I wanted back, including some $2 bills. He gave me a funny look (as if I was some sort of massive idiot) and shoved a bunch of $1 bills at me. Then the kid I was with told me that they didn't have $2 bills in the US.
I guess they were the idiots. (I hated that kid anyway.)P.S. You've been Spanked!

We have them, but they are no longer being printed - last series was in 1996. Back in 2003 there were some rumblings about a new series being printed, but I haven't heard any more about that possibility. They are, however, still in circulation... at least when people don't have anything else to use...
And damn, another site I need to register forAttached Files“And, remember: there's no 'I' in 'irony'†~ Merlin Mann
